Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 1 pack flat pasta noodles (garlic & herb flavored)


  • 1 onion, chopped finely


  • 1 stalk celery, diced in small chunks


  • 3 garlic cloves, minced


  • 1 tsp dry red chilli flakes


  • 3 turkey sausages, diced in small chunks


  • 5 mushrooms (button or cremini), diced in small chunks


  • 1/4 cup tomato paste


  • 1 cup chicken broth


  • 1/2 cup water reserved from boiled pasta


  • 1/4 cup full cream


  • 1 tsp italian herbs


  • 1 tsp onion powder


  • 1 tsp fennel powder


  • 1 tsp coriander powder


  • 1 tsp salt or to taste


  • 1 tsp black pepper powder


  • 2 tbsp olive oil


  • 1 tsp dried parsley


  • 2-3 tbsp shredded asiago cheese


  • 1/2 tsp dry red chili flakes for garnish

Directions

  • Boil pasta in plenty of water as per directions on the packet. Add salt to water if preferred.
  • Heat saucepan with olive oil. Once heated, add onions, celery, and minced garlic. Saute for couple of minutes.
  • Add sausage and stir fry till nicely browned.
  • Add mushrooms and cook till they are softened and shrunk.
  • Add tomato paste, broth, and cream. Saute till sauce is simmering.
  • Add onions powder, italian herbs, coriander powder, and fennel powder. Give a quick stir.
  • Add boiled pasta along with reserved water and mix well so that pasta is well coated with the sauce.
  • Add salt and black pepper powder to taste.
  • Transfer pasta to serving bowls. Sprinkle dried parsley, shredded cheese, and red chilies flakes as garnish.
